As pertains to the wherewithal, recommendations, in my experience, are often a function of expectation. As such, I am here to relieve you of such a burden. I will set no expectations for you. I will not tell you what this is about or where it goes. I will not tell you what type of book this is or even which genre this is. Thus, I expect and hope, no matter how terrible your opinion, it will be better than otherwise.
Often enough, a stray comma or a dash, such as accidentally writing the word 'deadpan' as two words instead of one, causes such consternation with the literati that they pan dead a dead pan because they 'simply could not get back into the book after the glaring syntactic error.' THEREFORE, I beseech you, remove and relinquish all expectations. There is nothing at all redeeming about this book.
