Our Trip Around Australia in 1976

Keeping in touch and getting money out of the bank, only two of the things we did differently back then. I write about several other practices that aren't the same now. This book is not meant to give you travel information as what I am writing about happened forty years ago. More up to date information on the places we visited is now available on the internet, something not accessible by us when we were planning our trip. We used the road service club we were members of for travel information. Our second hand caravan was at least fifteen years old when we started our trip, though running repairs and slight alterations had been made by me whenever I saw a better way of something to work. Our station wagon had been with us for at least five years, and thought by most to be at the end of its working life.I write about the difference in travelling back then to travelling now, quite normal for us and no real hardship.
