A collection of essays revealing one man's ever-growing and deepening understanding and testimony of the grand design of life on earth and its eternal purposes for mankind. A lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, this first time author, now 85 years young, was primarily motivated to publish his inspired writings and the deeper insights he's received over the years for his beloved posterity. Topics include understanding God's character and His grand design for us, His children; The Fall and redemption; the importance of agency and opposition; repentance and forgiveness; grace; symbols; prayer; The Book of Mormon as a "second witness" of Jesus Christ, and many more ... His first attempt to write about gospel subjects took place fifty-five years ago as he awkwardly penned an outline of the atonement and found it to be very unsatisfactory in subsequent review, hence, instilling in him a disinclination to further explore additional gospel subjective principles without better knowledge through study, prayer, and inspiration to bear his vision up to a higher degree. Every once in a while, he did receive a bright enough insight needing the expression in carefully chosen and meaningfully expressive and precise language. The insights did not cascade on him, but over the last few years, he was struck by an arresting concept (now and then), needing a sense of focus to be properly expressed. These strokes of perception have accumulated and the collection is now available here in print.
