Detailed Overview

Ori Soltes is a charismatic, erudite scholar. In this book he creates a truly amazing overview of the evolution of sacred signs. He gives respect and dignity to religious tradition, while tracing familiar iconic images back to prehistoric origins. Reading this book you really feel that we are all part of "one family." It is great to encounter a book that takes such a broad view of history. I wish the book had more illustration, particularly color pictures.
