Inspiring touching animal rescuers/animals

Eldad & Audrey have opened their LA home to countless homeless animals that come from all over Southern California. In this poignant memoir of some of the animals that have resided and recuperated with them- you share the heartache and emotion of rescue- and the wonderful happy endings they create as the animal moves to a loving adopter's home. The photographs are beautiful and the transformation of a defeated pound animal to a full-of-life dog are astounding.

Our Lives Have Gone to The Dogs is a great book because it is filled with success stories and lots of before and after pictures. It is easy to see how HOPE FOR PAWS has used donations to save dogs from death row. Not only are the dogs they take out of shelters groomed, they get the love and attention they deserve until they find a forever home. I also appreciate that this organization has saved injured and frightened animals who cowered in the back of their cages. After seeing so many horror stories from rescue groups in my mailbox everyday, I appreciate seeing happy endings. If you know someone who really loves dogs this book will definitely make their day.

It gets the reader in touch with feelings only relationships with animals can bring out. It's a feel good book full of love. Treat yourself to one of the greatest joys in life.

This is the best dog book i have!!

Well i have tons of books in my house, but no one of them, accept this, created so many : "ooohhh" sounds from my mouth till now. Every one that come and visit me gets a coffee and this book to watch while i make it, and they all loves Audrey and Eldads book. most recommended!! honestly! i would buy it as a present to any animal lover i know! :)
