We decided to release the second part of our book "Day by Day...." and supplement it with a number of new episodes of life of two kids in Moscow in 40th and 50th.The description to the first edition of this book is repeated below.This is the memories of two Muscovites about their very difficult life in Moscow for 70 years. Yuri was born in 1941 and Igor in 1948. They continue to live and work in Moscow now. Their older brother Vladimir was a famous physicist. He was born in 1939 and died in 1999 in Moscow too. They tell us about how they experienced hunger during the World War II, how they received education and wrote their books and how they received their PhD degrees. This book is about the survival of the family consisted of five people in the 140 square feet room in the famous apartment house of the State Bank of USSR. Their father was a famous inventor who received the Stalin Prize award when he was 30 years old and he continued to live with his three children in 140 square feet room. The family lived in former 4 bedroom apartment of their grandfather who was a famous banker and mathematician in the beginning of XX century and was convicted in 1930th.
