Inspirational Poetry for the "Me Generation"

Hello, and welcome to my review for "Our Inward Journey" which is a small hardcover gift book, published by Hallmark, probably sometime in the late 1970's. This book is basically a long, free-form poem extolling the virtues of being an individual, being special and unique, and keeping in touch with your own thoughts and feelings as well as those of other people. Which, if you're a devotee of the book "A Course In Miracles" you will be absolutely horrified by, because this book contains within its slim 42 pages enough self-esteem validation to completely cancel out the de-programming of individual "specialness" which is the core teaching of the A.C.I.M. movement, (also from the 70's.) But even if you're not lulled by the poem's message, you will be completely enchanted by the delicate watercolor illustrations. These are absolutely wonderful and you could possibly fall right into a meditative state just by looking at them.
