Our Great Salvation is an excellent study of soteriology-the doctrine of salvation-written as discipleship materials for small groups or beginning Bible school classes. It is the ninth book in the discipleship series, "Teach Me Your Paths." There are helpful study questions at the end of each lesson. The salvation story starts at the creation of Adam and Eve, and then moves to the terrible tragedy of the Fall, when sin and Satan entered the Garden. Yet even in those tragic hours God made a promise that the Seed of the woman (Jesus Christ) would bruise the head of the serpent. That is clearly what happened with the coming to earth of Jesus Christ as the God-man. His sacrificial death on the cross brought wonderful salvation and freedom for all who believe.
