I purchased this for my husband for his birthday! He loved it! Rev. French is brilliant and articulate! A must read for all Apostolic Pentecostals! So much research!

Best Recent Treatment of Subject

This book reads like an academic paper on the subject, but has warmth to it. It is the most recent and comprehensive on the subject of Jesus Name theology and certainly has some information other books of it's genre does not include. It is a strong treatment of Monotheism from a New Testament analysis. There is a listing in the end of the book of current apostolic organizations of churches nationally and internationally, including numbers of adherents. History, theology and personal observation make the book similar in style to Vinson Synan's Holiness and Pentecostal Movements in the United States, only from a One God Jesus Name perspective. Well worth your library.
