PICK UP THIS BOOK NOW BEFORE THEY ARE GONE !!!!!

This was my review way back when and I still stand by it. This is an excellent book. Want to know how things were done in the olden days? This book is it. This is an incredeble deal on this title. BUY IT NOW. I have been looking for this book (original pub. date copy) for a long time, I can only find it for sale at an outrageous price (excess of $200). This is by far the best book ever on the New York Fire Department. This book has taught me so much about the history of FDNY, that it has helped me with my fire antique collection serch. THE BEST !!!!

A copy of this book should be in every firehouse in NYC

This book has incredible detail and documentation of the early history of the New York City Fire Department. It was originally published in 1887 and has been republished in its exact original form. I highly recommend that every fire house should have at least one copy of this book in the office. Don: retired L10
