"Our Bishop Family" lists the descendants of John B. Bishop and Elizabeth Turner Bishop of Barren County, Kentucky. He was born in 1808 in South Carolina and died in 1894. Elizabeth Turner Bishop was born in 1810 in Virginia and died in 1887. John B. Bishop bought a 100 acre farm in Barren County in 1848. It was located at J Martin Road and Flowers Road. I am descended through John B. Bishop's son James Bristow Bishop. Therefore, a large portion of this genealogy will be through his line.
