"Our beloved son Henry passed away. He had the softest blue eyes, an easy smile and a contagious giggle," Engel wrote on Twitter, accompanied by a picture of his son. "We always surrounded him with love, and he returned it, and much more."

According to Zoghbi, Henry left a lasting impression on the Duncan NRI team and their ongoing Rett research.
