Born in 1982, she spent her childhood inventing and building objects, buildings, and models with anything she could find, watching her father sculpt and surrounded by the scent of oil paints and turpentine. Fascinated by the mechanics of the human body, she wanted to be a cardiac surgeon, but ultimately chose Fine Arts, which she studied in Barcelona. She experimented with printmaking, photography, and other visual arts until she realized that she felt truly fulfilled illustrating, inventing, and building characters and worlds with her pencils, and telling her stories on paper. To further her studies, she attended the Llotja School of Illustration for four more years. All of this work has materialized in her graphic art and more than forty books published in Europe and the United States. She has published in this collection *Corazones de Gofre* and *Tania Val de Lumbre*.
