In 1968, a well-known teacher named Acharya Rajneesh later known as Osho-delivered five discourses on the subject of love and sex to a large audience in Mumbai, India.

In these discourses, Osho revives the teachings and spirit of the ancient traditions of Tantra and Yoga. Only when this energy is fully understood and accepted can it naturally rise upward, allowing the individual to experience a state of superconsciousness-ultimate love.

The original Hindi title of this discourse series is "Sambhog Se Samadhi Ki Aur", which literally means "From Sex to Samadhi." Hence, this series is titled "From Sex to Superconsciousness" in English, as Samadhi represents the ultimate state of consciousness.
