Oscar was the odd sort. Always had been. Oscar suffered a string of family tragedies, starting at age five, one after another, forcing him to move from one guardian in the family, to another, after they too met with an unfortunate passing. As an adult, he struggled to be a success, but his abrasive and suspicious personality always managed to betray him and spoil his ambitions. Having been deceived and swindled, he learned how to be the deceiver and the swindler. He wanted desperately to be somebody important, but underneath his bravado, he just wanted someone to love. Believe it or not, this is a comedy.
