A St. Thomas secondary school facing "unsustainable" repair costs will close in June, with students set to transfer to other schools while a replacement is built. Article content Arthur Voaden secondary school (AVSS), which opened in 1926, will close at the end of this school year. The Thames Valley District school board said it was a "difficult decision" that followed after a comprehensive review by the board and the Ministry of Education.
