Origin Stories: Before the Raspberries
Every family has a beginning.
Before there was The Cousins' Club...
Before the birthday sleepovers...
Before the belly raspberries...
There was a family learning how to grow together.
When Rocco and Sophia receive a life-changing phone call about a baby boy in need of a home, the Hawthorne family opens its hearts to RJ and begins a journey that will shape generations to come. As the family grows with the arrival of twin cousins Katie and Danielle, followed by Kai, four children discover that family is built not only through birth, but through love, laughter, and the memories they create together.
From first birthdays and unforgettable family gatherings to hilarious childhood adventures and the beginnings of cherished traditions, Origin Stories: Before the Raspberries takes readers back to where it all began. Along the way, readers witness the birth of The Cousins' Club, the creation of the beloved Birthday Raspberry Tradition, and the strong bonds that will carry the cousins through every joy and challenge that lies ahead.
Filled with warmth, humor, and heartfelt moments, this middle-grade novel celebrates adoption, family, friendship, belonging, and the everyday moments that become lifelong memories.
Perfect for readers ages 8-12, Origin Stories: Before the Raspberries is the first book in The Cousins' Club Collection-a heartwarming series about family, resilience, kindness, and discovering that home is found in the people who love you.
