This study deals with the emergence of culture and the construction of the Yoruba language in Nigeria, elucidating the elementary structural form of the Yoruba language from its ancient grammar, showing in a broad way the reason for the notion of the pride of the Yoruba nation in Africa and the Americas and its importance for the legitimation of this nationalist identity ideology.
