Origami Dreams
Origami Dreams
Books of the Kindling, Book Two
One terrifying premonition brings them together. Another will threaten their future.
Mel Noblett is on a journalistic crusade to save the environment. And she has a particular talent that makes her preternaturally good at her job. But when a virologist whistleblower in Italy proves too frightened to talk, Mel turns to a fallback lead, an eccentric, beekeeping professor who might just make the trip worthwhile.
Dr. Daniel Woodruff's prescient dreams are more like nightmares. His latest premonition shows him the loss of his wife and unborn child to a horrific plague, a wife he has never met and a child he may never have. So Daniel is determined not to allow anyone into his chaotic life, least of all a persistent investigative reporter he finds simultaneously frustrating and captivating.
Intrigued and fascinated by her new subject, Mel begins to wonder if Daniel is hiding an incomprehensible talent of his own. But when Daniel's uncannily accurate visions begin to revolve around Mel, it becomes apparent both their lives are in danger.
Will Daniel and Mel alter the catastrophic future he envisions and find their own happier tomorrows?
