I confess, I've only read about 15 pages of this book. However, I'm very impressed with the little I've read. The passage I read was about implementing ans framing the culture of the community. In this book, students are making their own classroom rules, learning how to resolve conflicts, even collaborating on the themes of study. The book has helpful week-by-week plans for how to make students invested in and accountable for their own learning.
