Wonderful story

A beautiful story by an excellent storyteller. Compelling throughout. This was my favorite read in the last year. Great characters.

Touching tale of small town life, tragedy and how we overcome despair.

Took a chance on this one and I am glad I did. An engrossing story and impactful emotionally. You won’t put it down till you finish the last page. One of those books you think about in between reading it. We experience New Bremen, MN through the eyes of 13-year-old Frankie in 1961. Well told story and highly recommended!
