Orbit: Cheech and Chong

Bys: Michael Frizell and Martin Gimenez

Before the hit movies, platinum albums, and the legendary catchphrase "Dave's not here," there were two young performers with very different backgrounds, a struggling improv troupe, and a chance meeting in Vancouver that changed comedy forever. Orbit: Cheech & Chong traces the true story of Richard "Cheech" Marin and Tommy Chong as they transform years of hard work, late-night rehearsals, and smoky nightclub performances into one of the most influential comedy partnerships in entertainment history. Blending meticulous research with engaging graphic storytelling, this all-new biography follows their journey from underground clubs to the breakthrough recording sessions that launched a cultural phenomenon and forever changed stand-up comedy.
