This study focuses on optimizing, designing, and integration of heat exchangers, which are essential to better energy efficiency for specific engineering applications such as nuclear power plants. The implementation deals with the case of heat exchanger design using generally accepted analytical methods; we built this elaborate code of 482 lines for Matlab, allowing for easier designing while remaining compliant with copyright laws. The technique covers HEs integration validation through HINT software, 3D modeling of temperature distributions done by Ansys Fluent, compression modeling using HEs simulation, and economic analysis using Aspen Hysys. The CAD United Cycle used for the K-1000-60/1500-2 turbine successfully employed mixing types of heat exchangers, which turned out to be excellent producers of power, outperforming surface types. The deaerator-free setup with three mixing-type HEs provided a maximum capacity of 1041.37 MW - an indicator that modern designs play a vital role in maximizing power outputs.
