Compared with Volume 1, the ophthalmology-related articles collected in Volume 2 are even more diverse in genre. They include not only lengthy serialized monographs and special treatises on ophthalmology, but also ophthalmic disease treatment methods published in a question-and-answer format, popular science articles aimed at educating the general public on eye protection and disease prevention, as well as news dispatches and correspondence showcasing the latest developments in ophthalmology at the time.
