Beginning of the 20th century. Ofelia dies of an unknown illness in front of her husband Fortunato, the town judge. Inexplicably, at the time of her burial, the sarcophagus refused to be buried. It fell upside down or on its side and they could not bury it that day. They decided to do it the next day. When the gravediggers arrived at the cemetery in the morning, they found that Ofelia's coffin had disappeared along with her body. From there, a search for the coffin is unleashed along with a stream of gossip and impertinent rumors wondering where Ofelia is, being Fortunato, the target of this gossip, reaching an unusual ending, where love also finds a place.
