Fantastic true love/ courageous WWII story from the perspective of a Polish soldier deceived & for

I couldn't put this book down. This book needs to be put on film! Johnathan Demme, here's a story for you to document of absolute true courage, fortitude, incredible epic adventure that takes place in WWII Russia and journeys to Iran, then London. This is a story of incredible people who endured tremendous extremes of deprivation and hardship, bringing to life a world one could not even imagine. Finally, I am able to read about the perspective of a young Polish teenager, deceived and forced to become a German soldier. As a German prisioner captured by the Russians, he is treated much like the Nazis treated the Jews. His is a story of incredible fortitude, savy, survival and of finding love. Polish boys never wanted to wear the Nazi uniform and hated Hitler. I am a child of a Jewish Holocaust survivor who endured Auschwitz and my mother had the compassion and understanding to realize and learn, first hand, that not all German soldiers were evil from her own experiences in the war. Josef Morawietz's story is so amazing. Thank you so much for writing this down so that I could find and read it. You share an incredible story that is epic!
