A FIRST HAND KNOWLEDGE OF THE VIETNAM WAR

i'm not an avid reader, but when i recieved this book, i couldn't put it down. this book is very well detailed on the area in vietnam. this book was also very easy to read. i would recommend this book to everyone because it has plenty of action and was written by someone who was in vietnam and know the area and what went on there.

It was exellent book

I loved this book I could not put it down.I think Jude is a great author and I hope he comes out with more books. This is one of the best books you can find about the Vietnam War. It explains all the facts about the war, with a good story line not just facts.

Very detailed analysis of what really went on in Vietnam

I couldn't put this book down when I started to read it. As a Vietnam War era baby boomer, this book will open the eyes of everyone who grew up in that era of influence. It's pretty scary due the reality of a fictionalized account of one Jude's many experiences. I know Jude and the majority of the background research is real. Some of it came from DoD and CIA files and a lot more came from real life experiences. The American public has never been told the real truth about our involvement in Vietnam. This book is very revealing. I enjoyed it and recommend Jude's second book "Traitor in White Laces".

Insightful wartime CIA thriller

The author's first hand knowledge provides a fact based journey into the fictious world of covert opperations, less the hollywood glitz. The book is gritty to the point and in all cases a good read. The notion that the author is not publically popular only lends further to the mystery of a true no-nonsense approach to telling the story.

very detailed look at the viet. war from someone who was the

i enjoyed the book. very detailed and i've asked people who were in the vietnam war about the sights mentioned in the book and they told they really do exist. i'm not a big reader at all, but i coudn't put the book down at all. i am looking forward to his next book coming out.
