This book has been written in such a way that should be appealing to both layman and scholar alike. The book also shows how Operation Bagration was the largest military operation in military history. The work also shows how Bagration accomplished its two goals: The first goal was to destroy Army Group Centre, which did happen because out of the 34 divisions in its army, 28 out of these 34 divisions was destroyed by the Soviets. The second thing was that Army Group Centre dominated Belarus, so the Soviets wanted to reconquer Belarus, which the Soviets did accomplish. The Soviets did reconquer the following countries: Belarus, Poland, Ukraine, Latvia, and Lithuania. This book has been written in such way that should be appealing to adolescents as well. As always, the author hopes that the essay will be as much fun to read as it was for the author to write.
