Openstack is an open source platform for creating and managing private or public clouds based on virtual resource pools. The components that make up the Openstack platform provide the main cloud computing services: compute, network, storage, identity management and image management.Openstack's architecture comprises different services, with six core components providing computing power (nova), networking (neutron), block storage (cinder), identity management (keystone) and image management (glance), dashboards (horizon) and additional elements such as object storage (swift) and orchestration (heat), telemetry service (telemetry).Before installing openstack, you need to create a virtual machine and install a Linux distribution (Ubuntu, for example). Once you've done that, you can start installing openstack. You can use the Git tool (reference) to check the version in devstack, as we install through devstack to group and automate the installation of various modules.
