It seems that there are two different authors of these pieces. One is Connie Marie - the daughter, sister, wife, mother, and teacher. The other is Songmellow, the free spirit that was tucked away for many many years. The first poem expresses those two aspects of self: concrete and abstract, body and soul, black/white and full of color.Selections give an overview of the ebb and flow of life itself. Many are reflective of deep thought, and readers are encouraged to find THEIR relationship to the messages imbedded in the simple wording.
