When you think of the name Holy Spirit, what comes to mind? Ghost, mysterious, weird, maybe even images of smoke or light flash across your thought screen. The stance that people take on Holy Spirit and who he is to us as individuals has caused division and tension within the church for centuries. Some like to ignore his existence while others want to use him as a cloak to tell others just what they really think in a certain situation. And yet there are people in this world whom, within the first few moments of talking with them, you realize there is something supernaturally different about them. Their religious resume reads much like your own, yet you sense they have something you don't. Unable to pick out the exact attributes, you see it as peace and love, wrapped in excitement with a ribbon of joy. This gift they are displaying is not one exclusive to them. What sets them apart is that they opened the gift and are proudly wearing the contents everywhere they go. I am inviting you on an adventure! When you opened the door of your heart and welcomed Jesus in, he brought with him several gifts. Most of us are so excited about Jesus himself that we have him check his other packages at the door as we slip on the robe of righteousness that is our salvation. This is great and absolutely something to celebrate! This one decision is the key to everything else the Kingdom of God.
