These are notes on my architectural work and my thoughts at 85, the age I am now. It begins with a substantial interview summing up my architectural work and the last 70 years of my life. Following the interview are visuals of my work, both architectural and painted. Included is an essay by Robert MacLeod that discusses my work at the University of South Florida, where I have taught for the last 13 years. This facet of my teaching life has been most rewarding, in addition to my four decades of teaching at MIT. Of course, during all my teaching years I have practiced architecture, both in this country and in many nations worldwide. In the final section of the book are some personal thoughts about the future of our work as architects. The book is my quest for a better way for architects to help the world we live in.
