Very intriguing murder mystery!

Despite not starting from the 1st book of the series, I found book 10 at a local library and was intrigued since I love murder mysteries and am an amateur in the tea world, I have to say that this book was quite enjoyable! I haven't read fiction in a very long time, but this book definitely grabbed my attention, kept me glued onto the pages, and I was able to finish it within a few weeks. It's a miracle I finished a book and Laura Childs just knew how to grab her audiences' attention and heartstrings. Because of this book I decided to buy the rest of the 27 books in this Tea Shop Mystery series. Plus I'm waiting with enthusiasm for the 30th book to come out in March!

Theodosia Does it Again!

I just love the teashop mystery series by Laura Childs. I've been to that area of the country, bought a Sweetgrass basket from a roadside vendor lady, and breathed in the sumptuous fragrant air. Perhaps that's why I love them so. Who knows. What I do know is I find Laura Childs an authoress who thinks very much like I do and therefore I find her books very easy to read. I've already finished the book! I just received it in my mail on February 23rd or so.

Delightful read!

What a delightful summer read! I loved it so much that I am now reading all the teashop mysteries and all are very good. Laura Childs is an excellent author. The teashop mysteries all take place in Charleston, SC where my husband & I live for the winter. It is fun to read about a town and all the sights that you are familiar with and Charleston is such a historical city! I also like the recipes that are in some of the books. Good job, Laura Childs!

A caterer's nightmare comes to life

Recipes and tea time tips accompany OOLONG DEAD, a powerful survey of a lavish tea which involves the dead body of Theodosia's arch nemesis Abby. A caterer's nightmare comes to life as Theodosia's investigation into Abby's murder leads her to the back rooms of high society and a dark theatre world where anything goes in a wickedly wonderful read recommended for any mystery library.
