oogie: [Expurgated]

In consideration of current trends that aim to sanitise all potentially offensive or unorthodox content, A.B.C. Editions recognises that its title Loogie transgresses the limits of what religious and conservative fundamentalists can in good conscience consider admissible.

With a wish to nevertheless permit the novel to reach a larger audience, we are therefore making available this expurgated edition.

As noted in the book's preface, it is the author's belief that a majority of readers will find within these pages no earnest reason to bin the book - and we are therefore hopeful that oogie will be considered acceptable to individuals and potentially interested public libraries who wish to only dip a toe in hazardous waters, without running the risk of being swept away by unacceptable content.
