R. Roger Remington was a professor at Rochester Institute of Technology for fifty-seven years. A collection of writings, a Festschrift, published to honor his life as a designer, educator and scholar, is a perfect tribute. It includes essays and visual messages from 57 contributors from 8 countries who are representative of the scores of people he touched. Roger is a historian and a futurist. He constantly suggests new ways of using archives. He maintains a long list of people he wants to invite to speak. He has new books to write on his desk. He studies the past but lives looking ahead.
