Jocelyn ONNO (1931 - 2018), artist's name ONNO, has not stopped creating throughout his life. Photography was a logical extension of his creativity, as it allowed him to produce a snapshot of his view of our world. By settling in the Yvelines, he finally had the possibility of having a dedicated studio, which allowed him to express his pictorial creativity without constraint and to invest himself in photography and to develop his black and white photographs on film from the 1990s until 2000. ONNO worked with the dancer and choreographer Jacques Gaillard, he made a series of photographic pictures with the choreographer's dance snapshots as the subject. Photography will play an important role in ONNO's artistic expression.
