Great book

I thought this book was very colorful and well done. Me and my family thinks that it would be a great addition to anyone's library collection.

Comprehensive history is HERE

I know the city of Bridgeport. And Mr. Grimaldi's history is written clearly and concisely but NOT academically. It gives the reader the ability to learn about our city without having to wade through pages of footnotes and other distractions. Rather, the book is thorough and comprehensive but written in a very anecdotal and engaging style. It has wonderful pictures and exceptional and attractive cover art. "Only In Bridgeport" would make a wonderful gift for anyone interested in the city.Lastly, I would recommend it as reading for anyone interested in urban America. It encompasses a city's inception, heyday, lowlites and recovery. I am sure Bridgeport's history can be applied to any other city in America.
