The story unfolds in the shadowy, nocturnal landscape of a modern city, where a nameless, malevolent entity/Human uses his terrifying electric powers to enslave the population. His signature mark is a pair of glowing white eyes, which he implants in his victims, rendering them mindless slaves. These enslaved individuals unknowingly contribute to the construction of the entity's monstrous creation - a colossal, steampunk-style machine with mechanical legs that extend its height to over 100 feet. This mechanical monstrosity amplifies the entity's already formidable powers, enabling him to enslave more people and unleash widespread destruction. Steven, the protagonist, is tasked with the daunting mission of liberating the city's enslaved inhabitants. Steven must reverse the entity's mind control, one person at a time, battling the overwhelming odds and facing horrifying encounters with the soulless masses. His struggle against the entity's power and the chilling reality of his nightmare-like environment forms the core of the narrative.
