Revitalizing. A MUST Read.

How close are YOU in your relationship with God? Jim tells us his personal life story of giving up his free will to God and letting Him take over his life. It's more than a story of faith. Imagine being one of the Gentiles that the early apostles told, through first-hand experiences, the story of Christ. Imagine hearing the story the first time about Jesus and the tales of His miraculous life from those who were with Him. Imagine also that the miracles you are hearing of are just too incredulous to believe, so you don't. Yet the apostles go on. They tell you what Jesus said and what He did - and regardless of your unbelief, they continue to tell the story because of their personal experiences. You think that they are arrogant because of the authority they exude when you hear them speak. Yet you see that they really do believe what they are telling you. In this, you see their humility. This is similar to the story Jim tells us. Your reaction at times may be "Boy, is this guy full of it! At the least, he is certainly full of himself!" But I encourage you to read on. Later you will be saying to yourself "This man actually believes that what he is writing really happened." and "How could he possibly have made this up?" The author is simply telling you his experiences. Don't be too quick to judge him as arrogant. Wait until you see his humility unfold. Sometimes you may wonder "How can he SAY this? Why would he DO that?" Then at other times you realize "How could he NOT say this? Why would he NOT do that?" Jim's humor is unique. At times it is very obvious and at other times you will miss it (but assume something must be wrong with him). I've had the privilege to meet the author. Meeting him firsthand established a connection for me to better understand his humor. I could later say to myself "Oh, that was a joke." and what he said makes sense to me now." I also had the privilege to see his humility in life is much greater than in the book. Perhaps it is not strongly sensed in his story, or perhaps he continues to grow in humility in life. I prefer to think it is the latter. I encourage you to read this true story. It will shock you in multiple ways. As for me, I am finding that MY relationship to God is growing stonger, closer, and much more personal after having read this book. I think I needed the shock.

Faith Strengthening Insights- A remarkable page turner and conversation starter!!!

What do our eternal futures hold in store? How many are unsure, not knowing what to think? How many times do we read the Bible and then try to grasp certain concepts and relate them to our own modern lives? Many times these things seem so far away, high, lofty and surreal to us that they often don't get acknowledged with the importance and urgency that is due them. They are very real as you learn from the experiences you read in this book- and so are our places among them!(Souls, angels, spirits, demons, realms, tests of faith etc.) We know some among us have special gifts to see things most of us cannot, or choose not to see. It's definitely not something we ask for or look to experience on our own. James Rybak is someone who has been bestowed this responsibility and this gift! With our Heavenly Father's help, he has bravely chosen to relate his experiences to us in his book. The Lord's work is a living work- one that is drawing to a quick completion! Our Heavenly Father makes use of whom He chooses to bring his plan to completion. After reading One Wish...the sense of urgency and awareness in my life has increased multiple times over- just as much as the joy and hope I feel over the beautiful future promised to all those who love Him! The author relates very personal experiences and thoughts in a very real, very human way. It allows the reader to let down their guard and begin relating to their own experiences and thoughts in a whole new way. It opens new understanding and helps instill a deep respect for what is.(James is also quite entertaining and a little irreverent-(loved it!) I was glued to the book and found myself laughing out loud as I read, getting chills- and crying too.) I would recommend this book to anyone who has been searching for answers, trying to come to a deeper understanding or is just curious. It will spark lively conversation and provoke deep thought. I've already been out with old friends from school and the entire table was hushed as I talked about what I had read... everyone was fascinated- even with all of us being from different walks of life. We discussed until they closed the place down! Highly Recommended!

Let's Light up the World !!!

Anyone who has been part of my life knows that I have faced many challenges yet have maintained a deep and trusting faith in the Almighty God, His Beloved Son the Lord Jesus, the Holy Spirit and the Apostle's Doctrine administered in the New Apostolic Church. As I read One Wish, Won Battle written by James N. Rybak, many of my questions and concerns about life were answered. Even as a young child I pondered who would fight Satan in that great battle portrayed in the last chapter of the Holy Bible, the intriguing book of Revelation. The Lord Jesus directs this last battle, while His army fights. JESUS CHRIST HAS ALREADY FOUGHT AND BATTLED SATAN HERE ON EARTH AND HAS ALREADY WON!! Thankfully, through His life's sacrifice and through the gifts of His Apostle Ministry we have been given the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the opportunity to have our sins forgiven at every service we attend. After reading One Wish, Won Battle, engaging in conversation with Jim regarding issues I had, him removing three demons from my space, attending Jim's meditation classes, learning how to keep friend and foe out of my space, as well as having the wonderful opportunity of sharing just a few of life's moments with him, I have no doubt in my heart, soul, mind or body that Jim is the one that will lead Mankind and God's Holy Angels in the last battle to destroy Satan and his forces. Since reading Jim's book Satan has increased his forces to destroy my faith not only in The Almighty God, His Son, His good and Holy Spirit, the Apostle ministry, but in Jim also. Like He did Job, the Lord must allow us to be tested but He never leaves us alone to defend ourselves against Satan or any of his forces. His Angels stand ready to step in when we have completed each test. Be confident that whether we win or fail, The Lord Almighty does not leave us alone to fight our battles, nor does he condemn us for our failures, He continually encourages us and promotes our well being. On that great and final battlefield that the Lord Jesus will command, those that make the choice to fight along with Jim will battle the evil forces that remain. James Nicholas Rybak is the Mighty Warrior that will lead us and a great number of the Lord's Holy Angels. With the Lord Jesus looking on and the prayers of the faithful our final victory is assured! The Almighty Lord does not expect us all to take up this challenge of final battle, but He through this book invites all of mankind to participate in a Holy Divine Service in the New Apostolic Church located throughout this great world. Reading One Wish, Won Battle is not a prerequisite to experiencing His grace; opening our hearts to His timely Word, receiving the Holy Sacraments and accepting His Offer of Grace for eternal life is. If you are looking to be TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY by the events that happen in eternity and the unseen things that take place around us, THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!! Without a doubt, a story that will sweep across the nation and if Oprah doesn't jump on this one she will surely miss out on a ratings bonanza! Aa awesome testament to faith!!!!!

I love to read and found this book was a very easy book to read. I felt as if I was having a conversation with Jim and had to find out how the story ended. The emotional slant of the book is tempered throughout with the author's humor, which made me laugh out loud at times. One Wish...Won Battle is a great book detailing the journey one man takes after giving his free will to God. Mr Rybak's experiences are an inspiration for others to exam their own faith.
