TIME TO LEAVE There is a moment When everyone knows It's time to leave- Though we fight on & sometimes bleed We know it's time to leave There is a moment When everything dissolves Before our eyes & everything Becomes defined In its absence As never having been real There is a moment When what we feel & what we thought we felt Are finally separated Into what was & what shall always be It's like an ocean Dried up to become a desert Our past becomes fossilized For future generations to Discover or uncover Tip over a rock & see It's like a cloud Full of rain of substance Filling the sky for days & days It dissipates disappears from The heavens reveals in its absence All that is there above There is a moment When everyone knows It's time to leave That the very tie that binds us To this world below has been cut & we are free
