Dylan McCormick is an average eighteen year old kid who graduated high school with his friends. The plus side of working at the family sandwich shop instead of going straight to university is he skipped gaining the freshman fifteen. The downside is no woman likes hearing, "keep it down, my parents are upstairs..."

A small indignity in exchange for free rent and a job that pays above minimum wage.

Everything changes when Thomas Michael Sweeny starts sniffing around the shop. Dylan's dad doesn't want to sell his American dream. Giving up the shop isn't an option, some things are more important than money.
