The previous reviewer obviously didn't read the book. This is a story of personal and professional discovery by a (now retired) Bishop in the Methodist Church. Coming from a very traditional and conservative religious background, Bevel Jones has had a very fascinating journey indeed. It includes details of how he and other clergy came to organize to push against racial injustice in Atlanta and the larger South at a time when it was unpopular to do so. This is not the typical "party-line" tome and has considerable value for anyone interested in the history of Atlanta. Highly recommended.
