I sometimes wonder if I have ever contributed to a change in someone's life . . . I know others have helped me shape mine.

I did not write this book for everyone to read. My audience was supposed to be limited . . . just a few--a few that would not judge the quality of my writing or compare it to others, but would focus on the passion of my message.

I am not a professional writer, and I will not pretend to be one . . . but I wrote a book. A book which tells a story of how ordinary encounters changed my life.

This book is for the people who feel that life is always the same, and that there is no hope for change. For the people that were told "you will never make it", I am here to tell you that you can. This story is for those who gave it all, and could not find the strength to say "it is my time to take".

This story is for you . . . an ordinary person, with an ordinary life, that, knowingly or not, will one day, make an extraordinary difference in the life of another.
