This book is one of the most influential books I have ever read. Be sure to read the entire book because every page contains information that could change the way that you live your life. The stories that are told in the book grip you and motivate you to a higher standard. A book that you will want to be sure and find because it is something you must have and pass on to someone else. So good you don't want to keep it to yourself. After reading the book in one sitting I went and ordered a box of the books to give to my friends and family.
When you think it cannot get any better: It does

When you begin to read this book make sure you have plenty of time to finish because you will not want to put it down. As Seipel moves from story to story of things that have happened within the work of World Vision International you get caught up in the emotions the voulonteers must have been feeling. You celebrate in the victories and you cry with their defeats. One chapter that really hit home with me was "Children of the Dump". Seipel tells of the children who live at the dump in Guatemala City. Unknowingly, I came to this chapter two days before I was to begin working in this location. When I arrived on the scene everything I had read was a reality. People do live in these conditions. They are not just pictures in a book, or characters on a television. They are real people with real needs.
