Butch Carter's just been released from prison after serving seven years of a ten year sentence. Things in the small town of Lake Pruitt, Florida have changed quite a bit while he was away. His father is in a nursing home, the family business has been run into the ground, and his girlfriend and the son he's never met, are now living with a guy Butch has hated his whole life. To make matters worse, Butch's brother, Ronnie, hasn't been seen in days.
