This book is about my life growing up in Newark, New Jersey. Growing up in the Hayes Home projects in the heart of Newark comes with many temptations. The book will show you how I had "One Foot In, One Foot Out"I used sports as a way to stay away from the lure of the streets. Eventually the streets took over and I became engulfed with the street life for some years before I realized I could do better. I was a college graduate and the streets were controlling my life.It took a federal raid of the notorious Zoo Crew and the fact I started my own basketball program to help me change my life around. It's a great story for everyone but the youth need to read this story to help them understand we all have to overcome various obstacles living in inner cities. Bad decisions can hinder your chances but it doesn't end there. Turn around comes from within. I know you'll enjoy my story.
