She carries on during the winter with her training runs and rides to Paris to collect her Tour de France medal.While Merry Weather has her annual refit, Martyn and Mary spend time in Neyland, decorating.Martyn continues his training as a surgeon.The case of Si n Davies v Fowler and Fowler and John Stephens comes to court, resulting in outright victory and substantial damages for Si n.Gillian and Ginge start writing a new book, Castles of South and South West England. Ginge tries his hand at distilling.Delyth sails on Serendipity, a square rigged ship.In the summer Martyn, Mary, Delyth and Tony and Gwynfor and Tegwen sail Merry Weather to Spain via Ireland. Delyth and Tony part company.Kevin Evans writes to Si n.Les Girls, spend a last Christmas Day with Si n. Later she is admitted to Duchess of Cambridge for tests and treatment. Her HIV develops into full blown AIDS. Gillian, Mary and Pog dine with Si n at the Ddraig Goch restaurant, Si n's last public appearance. Her health deteriorates and she moves to St David's Hospice where she passes away, peacefully.
