One Door Opens is the story of a woman's quest to overcome tragedy and find herself again.Jenna is a 30 something who gave up the last five years of her life to take care of her mother as she loses her fight to cancer. The story opens with the death and Jenna's realization that she doesn't know who she is anymore. She stumbles through her days until a psychologist recommends a emotional support animal and a vacation to regroup.She travels to a resort which is being evacuated to a nearby small town due to forest fires. There she meets people in the town that accept her in to their hearts as she learns to live again.I believe that many people will be able to relate to Jenna's struggle and either are or know someone like Jenna. While she is fighting to find her identity, she also finds hope and love as well as the lesson that sometimes family doesn't mean a blood relative.
