This book is a simple story of the life of a husband and wife and their work in Africa. They seem to be a Baptist family, so this book doesn't contain many miracles, like other books, however, it displays a constant dedication to their missions work. This family is an inspiration to anyone living in luxury and comfort. This story left me with a burning question, "What I am doing to bring people to Jesus Christ?" Highly recommended easy read.

I met Kay Washer in the middle of Africa in 1990. I was a young Peace Corp Volunteer at the time. Kay is by far one of the most inspirational and devoted people I've ever met. I wish I had been there a few years earlier to meet Dallas. Never the less, the Blind Center of Kpalime was an inspiration to everyone. Her foundation of love and devotion changed lives of those in the center, those working at the center and those who paid visit to the center. Between the years of 1990-1992, I visited frequently and one day would love to visit again. Truly, you can see the hand of God working through those devoted to the blind children of Togo, Africa.
