WHEN YOU WANT HER ONLY CHOICE TO BE YOU One week. Two suitors. One impossible choice-or is it? When Fitzwilliam Darcy learns that Mr. Collins plans to propose to Elizabeth Bennet, he rushes to Longbourn to plead his own case. What he doesn't expect is to discover just how low her opinion of him truly is-or her father's decree: Each suitor gets equal time with Elizabeth for one week. At the end, she will choose one or neither, and that will be the final word. Elizabeth loathes Mr. Darcy for his prideful arrogance and Mr. Collins for his obsequious ridiculousness. As the days pass, her heart is unexpectedly touched when Darcy reveals himself to be a tender romantic. Told from Darcy's perspective as he scrambles to win the heart of the only woman he'll ever love, this is a race against time, pride, and a very persistent cousin. A charming, witty variation of Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice, perfect for readers who love romantic competition, groveling heroes, forced proximity courtship, and watching Darcy work hard for his happy ending.
One Bride & Two Grooms: A Pride & Prejudice Novella

This was another great novella by Christie Capps and I enjoyed reading about how Darcy had to court Lizzy while "competing" against Mr. Collins. I loved the epilogue at the end and the scene between Mr. Bennet and Mrs. Bennet discussing how things turned out. I look forward to reading more novellas by Christie Capps in the future and seeing what other adventures she puts the characters from Pride and Prejudice in.
